Ok, this is where we'll be posting receipts from (http://www.americanforests.org). Updates to this thread will be done on the first of every month (preferably, if donations are low I might skip a month)!

Thread is locked so discuss the progress in another thread (or 2!). Short version of the details available on: http://www.transfz.com/faq.php is that you may donate to to support Transfz - 100% of the donations goes to planting trees. One tree is planted per dollar, meaning that this is the perfect chance for you to support both the environment and the further development of Transfz.

103 trees planted - this months "only" saw 20 trees planted but happy news is that they came from 5 subscribing members! Please consider this as an easy option to support both the global environment and a neat piece of software

Todays monthly treeplanting is record setting - a single donater has chosen to become CO2 neutral for roughly a year by donating $60 dollars. Together with the members this adds up to 50 trees planted in one go - alongside with a nice motivation boost for me to keep working on Transfz! Thanks to all the people making this possible

Yup 30 trees planted.. not because a lot of donation happened but because I skipped a month in the cycle to try out a new service (https://shop.therainforestsite.com/store/item.do?siteId=221&itemId=32652&origin=154171 that seems promising. At first I thought it was a double up deal but it turns out that they cut down 50% of the planted trees once they are grown so American Forests are equally good (just another geographical area I guess). Anyhow, I digress: here's the screenshot:

Another 16 trees planted! As a brief sidenote it is worth mentioning that I randomly ended up participating in a manual treeplanting session recently - around 20 down on that occasion between me and a friend :)
